Jim Carpenter, Cody Wertz, Kyle Miller & Gaspar Perricone make up Freestone Strategies. We work as a team, with overlapping and complimentary skills, contacts and experiences, so that each client and project benefits from a collaborative, creative and tailored approach.

 

Jim Carpenter, Co-founder

Jim has served as a senior advisor to elected officials on policy, government, state budget, political and operational issues, and had direct oversight of state agency executive directors and senior staff. He was a key liaison to Colorado’s Congressional Delegation and staff, the National Governors Association and diverse stakeholders, including business and myriad community organizations throughout the state.

Cody Wertz, Co-founder

Cody is an expert in crisis communications, media relations, public affairs and communications strategies for local, regional and national clients. Wertz’ clients include land owners, utilities, business developers, environmental and sportsmen non-profits and more.

Kyle is a public and government affairs specialist focusing on strategic outreach, strategic communications and media relations. Kyle has concentrated on national, regional, state and community‐based projects involving land use, natural resources, renewable energy, health care, conservation, telecommunications and public involvement.

 

Gaspar Perricone, Partner

Gaspar has extensive public affairs and government relations experience, with expertise in policy development and analysis, political strategy, strategic planning, and lobbying. Gaspar’s work in state and federal government, the private sector, and the non-profit community has given him a wide array of skills and experience to assist his clients from project initiation to completion.
